How to Apply for the WAEC Recruitment 2024
Before applying, you must create an account on the application portal at recruitment.waec.com.ng. Here are the steps:
- Create an Account:
- Visit the portal via the provided link.
- Click on the “Register” menu and input your details.
- Verify your account via the link sent to your email address or click on the “Verify Account” menu on the portal.
- Apply for the Position:
- Click on the “Login” menu.
- Input your details and click the “Sign in” button.
- Fill out the application form and select the position you’re interested in.
- Crosscheck your application before submitting.
Requirements for WAEC Recruitment Exercise
To be eligible for the WAEC recruitment exercise, applicants must possess the following:
- A passport photograph (7kb to 30kb, dimensions 275 x 314 pixels).
- A bachelor’s degree in a related discipline.
- An O-level result with five (5) credits in SSCE/WASSCE, including English Language and Mathematics in one sitting, or six (6) credits in no more than two sittings, including English Language and Mathematics.
- A valid means of identification.
- Proficiency in using personal computers, MS Office software, and web-based systems.

WAEC Recruitment Shortlisted Candidates
After the recruitment deadline, the names of eligible candidates for the screening will be published online. A screening schedule will be released, detailing the date, venue, and location for each shortlisted candidate.
WAEC Recruitment Portal and Account Creation
All applications must be submitted through the official recruitment portal recruitment.waec.com.ng, which will be activated once the form is released. For now, some functions on the portal are disabled and will be enabled only when the form is available.
