According to the official notice, KeRRA has five open vacancies:
- Director of Corporate Services
- Director of Road Engineering
- Corporation Secretary and Director of Legal Services
- Deputy Director of Environment and Social Safeguards

Requirements and Qualifications for KERRA Recruitment 2024
Applicants are expected to have acceptable identification proof such as a National ID card or Passport. Additionally, candidates should have at least C+ or D+ in KCSE, including English and Kiswahili languages. Good health, both physically and mentally, a criminal-free record, and clearance certificates from bodies like KRA, HELB, DCI, EACC, and CRB are also required.
Specific Position Requirements
Director of Corporate Services
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resource Management, Finance, ICT, Public Relations, Marketing, or equivalent from an approved institution.
- Master’s degree in any of the above-mentioned disciplines is an added advantage.
- Active membership in a relevant professional body and a practicing license from IHRM.
- Proficiency in computer applications, valid certifications from ICTA, and possibly a PGD in Human Resource Management from KNEC.
- At least twelve (12) years of work experience.
Director of Road Engineering
- First degree in Civil Engineering from an approved university.
- Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Professional membership with the Engineers Board of Kenya (EBK).
- Analytical skills and proficiency in ICT are mandatory.
Corporate Secretary and Director of Legal Services
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law or a related qualification in social science from a recognized university.
- PGD in Council of Legal Education and membership in the Law Society of Kenya.
- Proficiency in computer operations and commitment to excellence in executing duties.
