Requirements for Ministry of Foreign Affairs Kenya Jobs 2024
To qualify for any of the advertised positions, you must meet the following requirements:
- Must be a Kenyan citizen.
- Possess a valid National ID or passport.
- Hold a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Have a minimum mean grade of D+ in the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examination, with D+ in either English or Kiswahili.
- Have at least four (4) years of relevant work experience.
- Completion of a leadership course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized institution (optional).
- Be a registered member of a relevant professional body.
- Proficient in computer skills.
- Demonstrate results in work performance.
- Possess analytical, communication, strategic and innovative thinking, interpersonal, resource mobilization, and negotiation skills.
- Fulfill the Chapter Six (6) constitutional requirements by possessing the following documents:
- Kenya Revenue Authority (Tax Compliance Certificate)
- Higher Education Loans Board (HELB Clearance Certificate)
- Criminal Investigations Department (Certificate of Good Conduct)
- Approved Credit Reference Bureau (CRB Report)
- Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (Duly filled self-declaration form stamped by the EACC)
- Be free of any criminal record.
